Antique plate in faience – Émile Gallé at Saint-Clément

Beautiful antique plate in fine earthenware, attributed to Émile Gallé for the Saint-Clément factory, late 19th – early 20th century. Delicate blue decoration on a white background, featuring a naturalistic floral motif, emblematic of the naturalistic taste of the period. The pierced and scalloped rim adds refined elegance and a very decorative relief to the whole piece. On the reverse, there are handwritten and stencilled marks “Gallé Nancy” and “St Clément”, confirming the origin. Condition: – good overall condition for its age. – presence of fine crazing and signs of wear (visible in photos), with no major chips or restoration. – piece is sound, decoration well preserved.
