Set of Two Scandinavian Soliflore Bubble Glass Vases, 1960s

This set of two mid-century modern soliflore glass vases is an iconic piece of scandinavian design. Resembling a flower bulb, the green base is executed in the controlled bubble technique. Originally designed by per lütken for holmegaard in the 1950s, this exquisite design was later reproduced by other scandinavian factories, from kosta boda to åseda. In excellent vintage condition, without any chips or cracks. There are some faint watermarks as they have been used. Approximate sizes: height 13.5 cm, diameter 4.5 cm (diameter at the top 1.4 cm).
