DESCRIPTION: A beautiful glass Art Deco pendant lamp from the brand WMF. WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) is a German metalware factory that has been making mainly household metal objects such as cutlery, photo frames, and more since 1853. Most of their work was done in the Art Nouveau or Art Deco style. This lamp was also designed by Karl Wiedmann (active between 1920/1950), who invented the technique used in this lamp. This technique, called Ikora glass, uses a unique, layered method, where swirling, marbled, or crackled effects are created by fusing colored powders between layers of clear glass. The lamp hangs via rings on the original fabric cords, with the cable integrated so it is not visible. The aluminum ceiling cap completes the whole, keeping the connection invisible. In short, a beautiful item for Art Deco lovers. DIMENSIONS: Height: 80cm, Glass height: 10cm, Diameter: 42cm. CONDITION: Perfect condition.
