This mid-century brazilian brutalist style patched leather lounge chair was created by a group of young brazilian designers who, throughout the 1960s and 1970s, designed some of the most extraordinary furniture, using traditional materials and techniques with a progressive, relaxed attitude. The design of the chair is in the style of modern mid-century designers like jean gillon, percival lafer and sergio rodrigues. The chair is handcrafted and features a frame in full wood supporting a very thick leather sling seat stitched with gaucho style leather lacing. The lounge chair is in good condition and we have a set of patchwork cushions that match the chair and stool though these are in real vintage condition.(final two pictures). Therefore we calculated the chair without cushions and also because the chair looks best without them.
