2608 - very decorative, from the 1960's, this large gien earthenware pot cover signed in good condition. No splinter, just a tiny little crack without gravity at the collar (see photo). Sounds good, good resonance. Bb décor of birds on the belly of crested lapwings with a snail on a rush and swamp snipe. Mark at the castle with the inscriptions "gien - france - decorated by hand" corresponding to the years 1960-1971 accompanied by the number of the decoration and the mark of the painter under the pot.
