VSJ-125 Salon Cabinet by Kurt Gunther & Horst Brechtmann for Fristho, 1960

Sleek and minimalist in design this large cabinet, designed by Günther and Brechtmann for Fristho in 1961, is made of teak with a black metal strip along the edge of the top and a black metal base and doorknobs. Consisting of 5 drawers and a small compartment on the right, with a black glass shelf. The left is opened by one large door that has 2 shelves behind it. Lots of storage space! The inside is made of birch and rosewood veneer. A high quality design piece, this one is from the V-series, all by the German designers Günther and Brechtmann for Fristho. The cabinet is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and wear and some repairs on veneer, see photo's.
