Louis XV Rococo style stool in gilded wood – pink seat – 20th century

Elegant decorative stool in Louis XV / Rococo style, dating from the 20th century. Its richly carved gilded wooden structure follows the codes of rocaille furniture: a flowing belt adorned with scrolls and foliage, curved legs ending in claw feet, and beautiful carved decorations on the uprights. The generously padded seat is covered in an antique pink / old rose fabric, providing a lovely contrast with the gilding. A very decorative piece, ideal in front of a dressing table, in a bedroom, a dressing room, an entrance, or as an extra seat in a baroque or eclectic interior. Dimensions: total height 52 cm – seat 55 × 43 cm. Condition: very good overall condition for the structure and gilding, with slight signs of use consistent with its age. A few small stains are present on the seat fabric, visible in the photographs.
