Enameled lava coffee table by Jean Jaffeux

Enameled lava coffee table signed by the Auvergne artist Jean Jaffeux (1931 - 2015). 📏 Dimensions: 80 x 40 x 34.5 (h) and weight: 28 kg. 🎨A little history. Jean Jaffeux is a painter and ceramist specializing in enameling on lava, adept at creating unique pieces created in a single firing. His graphic style resonates with that of Jean Lurçat, whom he met several times, according to his biographers. The son of the Auvergne painter Charles Jaffeux, he trained in Jean Borel's studio in Mozac, then set up his own studio in Riom, north of Clermont-Ferrand. ⚠ The photos are part of the description of this vintage object, which bears the traces of its history while retaining its beautiful appearance. The tabletop has minor scratches and signs of wear. The legs have traces of oxidation that I haven't attempted to remove (I think it blends in very well with the tabletop's color scheme).
