Chauvigny porcelain dish decorated with gold

Deliciously vintage and almost kitsch, this large hollow dish in fine Chauvigny porcelain with a central decoration of a large yellow rose. This style of porcelain in the shape of a stylized leaf is quite rare to find in this size. Its main asset: its richly combed decoration in fine gold surrounding a luminous yellow rose. Its little extra: its totally vintage shape from the mid-20th century. Good condition. Minimal imperfections due to the manufacturing method and age. Note: slight wear of the gilding on the stem of the leaf. And pinhead firing marks to the right of the rose. Diameter 23cm, height 5cm. Careful & secure shipping.
