Chauvigny porcelain dish decorated with gold

Deliciously vintage and almost kitsch this large hollow dish in fine chauvigny porcelain with central decoration of a large yellow rose. This stylized sheet-shaped porcelain style is quite rare to find in this dimension. Its major asset: its richly combed decoration with fine gold surrounding a bright yellow rose. Its little extra: its totally vintage shape from the middle of the twentieth century. Good condition. Minimal imperfections due to manufacturing method and age. Note: slight wear of the gilding on the leaf stem. And cooking marks in pinheads to the right of the rose. Diameter 23cm, height 5cm. Neat & secure shipping.
