Hand-painted ceramic vase with two handles from the "Keller et Guérin Luneville / St Clément" factory. This collection is a variation in terms of color and pattern on the classic collection (Réverbère Fin) that brought worldwide renown to the Lunéville factory (however, the floral motif remains a constant). The cursive signature, "painted by hand, Lunéville France, " indicates a date of the 1970s. Height: 31 cm. Diameter at the opening: 15 cm. The vase is in very good condition, despite being over half a century old! (No cracks, chips, or dents...) Carefully packaged for shipping! A little history: Founded in 1730, the Lunéville factory was one of the most famous manufacturers of earthenware in the 18th and 19th centuries. The reason is simple: all the raw materials needed for its production were already available locally (wood for the kilns, clay/kaolin for the paste). In 1892, the Keller and Gerin earthenware factories and the Saint Clément factory merged and subsequently dominated the French market (the factory notably worked with some of the greatest artists of the time, such as Emile Gallé, Richard Micque, and Paul Louis Cyfflé). Its reputation is worldwide!.
