Victorian music cabinet or display case in burr walnut, late 19th century

Small burr walnut veneer music score display case opening with a glass door revealing three shelves and a drawer, the uprights turned into a baluster. England, mid-19th century the date of manufacture of the piece of furniture is around the end of the 19th century. The top of this refined piece of furniture is in burr walnut, inlaid with elegant gilded motifs. It is decorated with a turned and engraved brass rail. An opening glass door provides access to 4 shelves bearing on a plaque the name of the musical category "sacred", "opera", "songs". In the lower part, four turned walnut columns allow for vertical storage of records. This music cabinet is decorated with two turned and carved columns. Its glass door locks. The piece is in good used condition, consistent with its age and use. No particular defects to report. This is an exceptional and collectible piece.
