Murano glass striped globe lamp attr. to La Murina, Italy 1970s

This Italian Murano glass striped globe pendant lamp closely resembles Lino Tagliapietra's designs for La Murina, but he also designed for Venini as well. It is one marvelous piece of glass. The overall dimensions are H: 86 / W: 44 / D: 44 cm. An exceptionally elegant swirl sphere made of milky hand-blown Murano glass with brass details gives the impression of light ladies’ jewelry. The cult pattern, a brown and white swirling ribbon, gives a unique character and warms any interior. The sphere suspends from coiled black wiring crowned with a brass canopy. This impressive piece of endless, elegant lighting will fit into a living room, an entrance hall, or above the kitchen table. Additional information: Cable length 42 cm, It requires an E 27 bulb. The lamp is in original vintage condition with a light patina on the brass and original wiring; however, the cable is not adjustable, and there is no suspension mechanism.
