Old sandstone pitcher from Betschdorf Alsace

Hello, here is a very old jug or pitcher in alsace sandstone, with a capacity of 3 liters, dating from the 1930s. It is in a very good state of conservation. Salt was applied to the pottery before firing at 1250° in order to obtain the desired pattern in this very pretty shade of cobalt blue typical of betschdorf pottery. Here, the number 3 has been engraved upside down, which makes it unique. It is a very beautiful folk art object with a floral motif, to decorate a rustic or country style kitchen.
