Set of five stoneware cups signed GP Digoin – Grès et Poteries Manufacture, French production from the 1970s. Slightly conical silhouette, tapered base and gentle opening: a simple, balanced line, typical of stoneware tableware from this period. The lower part is subtly ribbed, adding texture and visual depth. The glazes are particularly successful: shades of caramel brown, golden honey, almost chocolate smoky tones, with slight olive green reflections in places resulting from the firing reactions. Each cup features its own variations, giving the set a lively and authentic character. The interior, generously glazed, offers a beautiful depth of colour. Impressed mark GP Digoin. In excellent vintage condition, with very light signs of use consistent with age (see photos). Height 8.5 cm, diameter at the opening 6.5 cm, diameter at the base: 4 cm. Estimated capacity 16 cl. Perfect for a neo-canteen table with a sleek design.
