Art Deco console in onyx and steel

Magnificent console, side table or pedestal table, base and top in onyx, double column steel legs. Art Deco / modernist period (around 1928-1938). The whole is deliberately architectural, symmetrical and minimal, with a very understated decorative vocabulary. Generally in good condition, except for a small chip on the edge of the top. A true favourite.
