Stools by Christian Durupt, Meribel circa 1960

Christian durupt was a french cabinetmaker who worked in the 1960s and was known for his solid wood creations, he notably collaborated with charlotte perriand on the development of the savoir ski resorts. Steeped in history, this rare set of stools comes from the méribel ski resort in france. The stool with a thick square seat rests on a slightly tapered quadripod base, all in solid pine.
