Metal and brass floor lamp, France - 1950s

Magnificent French-made floor lamp dating from the 1950s. It is made of black metal with beautiful brass finishes, as seen in the photos. This lamp is in vintage condition and shows many signs of wear. It is fully functional, but relics of its former life are clearly visible. This lamp has no switch. It turns on when the plug is plugged in and turns off when the plug is unplugged. No electrical or structural modifications have been made. The black parts of the lamp were repainted by the previous owner.
