Napoleon III style slope desk

Charming little marquetry sloping desk from the Napoleon III period. 19th century. With floral decoration on a black background, each of its faces are curved. Key present. Opening by a flap with gilded bronze borders revealing a writing tablet, covered with a green felt mat (worn condition). On the front, 3 small drawers. A secret locker with its sliding tablet and its bronze pull handle. Depth with its open flap: 63 cm. Width of the tablet: 24 cm. Rests on 4 arched legs. Rich ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronzes. Beautiful state of conservation.
