Entrance bench

For this one, I started with an old painter's trestle. I fitted it with a tabletop made from a solid old plank—I couldn't tell you what kind of wood it was, but it's very pretty—and voilà, a little entryway bench! Ideal for taking off your shoes in an entryway or in a bedroom for putting down clothes, etc. Sturdy and stable, see the last photo. We sanded it and treated it with Xylophene as a preventative measure. 4 compartments for storing shoes. 92 cm long. 21 cm deep at the seat. 32 cm deep at the base. 40 cm high. Nook 16 cm X 21 cm. Antique piece of furniture with its marks of time (so not new 😋).
