Hexagonal coffee table by claude berraldacci, composed of two superimposed tops with 3 full grooved sides and 3 open sides. This table comes directly from the back of the workshop of the designer claude berraldacci, who designed it in the 90s. The brand was called "la pierre haute couture". The stone is the purest of what exists in travertine. It comes from the tivoli quarry near rome, from where the vatican buildings, the colosseum or the trevi fountain are extracted. The travertine from this region is very pure, with few veins and a very light color. They do not fear stains. The stone is worked with the great know-how of berraldacci which allows to have a "softened travertine": natural and matte appearance, soft to the touch. His work highlights the timeless dimension of his pieces which harmonize with all styles of decoration (usually cliché phrase but which is true for travertine). Last photo: portrait of claude berraldacci. Free delivery in paris and nearby suburbs. Shipping on estimate for other destinations. Many other pieces on my selency shop. Click on "see the shop".
