This shelving system is entirely modular; all parts can be interchanged and set up as desired, using an easy system with brass hangers inserted into solid wood rails. Despite the passage of several decades, the wall unit remains in excellent original condition. The drawers operate smoothly, and all components fit together perfectly. The wood has been cleaned and protected with professional compounds, and the hardware has been polished. While the hangers have washers that are likely not original, the system remains fully functional, and the washers add a unique charm.
