Set of 10 small old terracotta resin pots. These pots were used to harvest the resin of the pines in the landes, hence the remains of resin. They were hung on the trunks of the pines, and a wooden tab fixed by an incision in the trunk allowed the resin to flow into the pots. Voluntarily left "in their juice", these pots are very decorative, They are all of different sizes, shapes or shades (diameter of about 14 to 17 cm, height 11 cm) which distances them from the "monotony" of today' s industrial and soulless productions. Some are stamped by the manufacturer, others more "diform" (my favorites!), all are filled with the charm and aesthetics of these simple and usual objects witnesses of a typical regional human activity. To be used in decoration for small cacti for example. Sale of the lot (10 pots) only.
