Just arrived at the Workshop is this elegant and rare curved wooden coat rack, a production from the late 19th century. This model, known as the parrot, is emblematic of steam-bent wooden furniture. Its lines are refined and organic. This coat rack rests on a curved four-legged base with reinforcement. It features 6 curved hooks for holding accessories and coats. The date 1875 is embossed on the back of the central post. Very old yet in very good overall condition. We love its authentic patina. Light signs of use are still visible, testifying to its rich life. This characterful coat rack will find a prime spot in an entrance, a bedroom, or a bathroom.
