Cyanotype "tomato", unique print, numbered and signed. Hahnemühle paper 300g, 100% cotton. Total dimension: 20 X 30 cm. Sold without frame or mat. By the way: Azrak is a collection of cyanotypes created by the polypus studio in Marseille, highlighting the richness and diversity of blue, between the sky and the Mediterranean sea. Each cyanotype is a unique work created by the sun and fixed by water. Several steps are required to achieve the final result, and each step is done by hand. Process: Cyanotype is an alternative and monochrome photographic printing process that dates back to the 19th century. It was made famous thanks to Anna Atkins, considered the first female photographer. By coating a support with a photosensitive emulsion, then exposing it to the sun, and then fixing it with water, we create unique and singular images every time.
