Like a small fragment of a Finnish winter landscape, this heavy glass bowl belongs to the "Seita" collection, designed in 1976 by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala. Its irregular surface evokes both melting ice and the bark of a tree. The transparent glass, particularly dense, captures light and reveals an almost mineral depth. By itself, the bowl already resembles a small sculpture. It can be used as a decorative object, a catch-all, a candle holder, or a collector's piece. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of use related to age. The irregular contour and heavily worked texture are part of the original design. A large matching piece from the Seita collection is also offered separately.
