Designer or bistro stool, bent wood kohn 1905 no thonet

Bar and designer stool from around 1905 by Kohn, No. 606. Very rare are stools with three rings and even more so with four rings. The stool presented here is a high-end model featuring capitals at the top of the legs and a moulded belt. It is in two tones: "Walnut" and "light beech." All Kohn catalogues show it in its simple form. It is a high stool that requires, for comfortable seating, one or two feet to be placed on the lower circle. I present it in situ at Maxim’s around 1900, in Font-Romeu in the Pyrenees. It is stamped from the Kohn factory in Vsetin, labelled. Total height: 80 cm, diameter: 41 cm. Very good finish condition, stable and lightly used. Shipping to France and Europe or collection in Alsace.
