Vintage Space Age hairdresser's chair — burr effect, 1970s

Vintage hairdresser's chair, Space Age / Mid-Century Modern style, dating from the 1970s. Characteristic enveloping silhouette of the era, with a shell finished in faux walnut (speckled wood effect) varnished and glossy. Seat and backrest in black faux leather, in generally good condition (no tears, slight wear from use). Chrome swivel base with central foot on a black cross, functional hydraulic system, integrated footrest. Condition: a few chips on the edges of the shell (visible in photos), revealing the light material beneath the varnish. The rest of the finish is glossy and in good condition. Hydraulic mechanism operational. Ideal piece for a retro hair salon, a loft/industrial decor space, or as a collector's item.
