Kimono Carpet Daytime Gallery

Large elegant 'kimono' carpet from the galerie diurne (paris). It was manufactured and purchased in 2006. The carpet was woven according to an original design by marcel zelmanovich. It is a signed work of art -- limited edition of 8 copies. The carpet was hand-knotted to measure with hand-spun wools, in nepal in the workshop of the diurnal gallery. The monogram mz chiseled in velvet attests to its authenticity. The carpet is made of 100% pure wool velvet of very good quality and in very good condition. Clamping: 200, 000 knots / m2. The carpet adorned our large living room in paris 2006 - 2016. It is 'dormant' (rolled) since 2019 in our country house in provence. We did a professional cleaning in 2015.
