Charlotte Perriand, Bench at Les Arcs circa 1973

This example of a daybed was once part of the apartment layout of the résidence nova in les arcs, an iconic creation by the talented charlotte perriand. The structure of this piece of furniture, made with carefully arranged pine slats, contains two ingeniously hidden rolling drawers, accessible by a flap. The seat mattress and foam cushions are covered in an ecru nobilis fabric. The daybed transforms into a bed measuring 190 cm X 80 cm, providing an ideal resting space. Seat height: 45 cm.
