In this listing, you will find an antique ceramic teapot made from black clay. It is a Yixing teapot produced during the Qing dynasty. The square seal indicates the location 营口 (Yinkow) on the top, a port in Liaoning province that opened to trade with foreign ships during the Qing dynasty. 金泰 (Jing Thai) was the name of a shop in Yinkow. Under the lid, it features two double-gourd shaped seals with identical inscriptions 豫豐 (Yu Feng), the name of the Yixing workshop. On the side of this teapot are two characters 金廷 (Jin Yen), the name of a famous teapot artist 施金廷 (Shi JinYen 1877-1950). The Yu Feng teapot was established during the Xianfeng period of the Qing dynasty. The teapot is in very good antique condition with some signs of age and use.
