Description: Elegant footed compote with a flared shape, made of ouraline glass with characteristic bright yellow-green reflections. Design & Aesthetics: The piece features a rich and complex decoration typical of Victorian artistic glassware (EAPG style). The bowl has a scalloped edge and raised geometric patterns, combining radiant stars and diamond points. The Foot: Resting on a finely crafted, fluted circular base, the foot is connected to the bowl by a sculpted leg with a textured central knot, providing excellent stability and a beautiful visual presence. Remarkable Property: Like all authentic ouraline glass from this era, the glass contains uranium oxide, which gives it a spectacular bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. • Type of object: Footed compote / Dessert bowl / Fruit bowl. • Period: Late 19th / Early 20th century (Art Nouveau / EAPG) • Material: Pressed / moulded coloured glass (Ourakine / fluorescent vaseline glass) • Dimensions: 14.5 cm height × 14 cm diameter. Condition: The object is in very good condition. The glass is shiny, with no major chips or cracks.
