Antique mirror

Large antique Napoleon III pedimented mirror, dating from the 19th century. Its richly carved frame of foliage, flowers, and fruit is topped with a pediment with a crown of flowers housing a bird (dove), an emblem of peace, love, and refinement. The frame is gilded with the original gold leaf and has been re-patinated in some places to restore its shine. The mirror is in very good condition. Complete with original parquet on the back.
