Period: ca. 1940 - 1970 this medium sized mirror is wonderfully decorative. It has a louis XV style shell crest and openwork acanthus leaves on the sides. Surprisingly (because you can't see it without tapping it) this mirror frame is made of composite wood (wood + resin) and is a reproduction; an excellent job has been done to reproduce an ancient patina. Condition: good. The glass is perfect. I reattached the glass at the back with new hooks. Dimensions: frame 51 cm high, 38 cm wide, 2 cm deep, 1.4 kg.
