Rattan chaise longue • vintage

This magnificent chaise longue 1900, full of charm will inevitably find its place on your terrace or in your garden. It was cleaned, restored and restored by eugenie, our restorer (you can watch the restoration in replay on our website) The first 4 photos show the chair as it is today. The other 2 photos illustrate the chair in its original condition. Characteristics: Dimensions: 153 cm long X 72 cm high X 62 cm wide. Material: rattan and wood. Period: 1900. Very good condition. Did you know It was at the end of the nineteenth century that winter gardens became very fashionable. The furniture is composed with a lot of rattans, which brings simplicity, elegance and lightness. The manufacture of rattan furniture calls on an ancestral know-how: the art of basketry. They used the vegetable fiber and assembled it in a more or less complex way.
