Venetian "dishcloth" mirror in Murano glass, 1960s

Murano glass mirror, framed with an elegant twisted glass cord known as "torchon". The rectangular shape with softened corners gives it a gentle and balanced silhouette, typical of Italian design from the 1960s–70s. The finely spiralled glass work subtly captures light and adds depth to the whole piece. The structure is rhythmically accented by cylindrical metal elements, creating a refined contrast between transparency and material. The mirror features a slight smoky tint, characteristic of certain Venetian productions of the time. A strong decorative piece, ideal for an entrance, bathroom, or above a console. Venetian production, Murano glass work. Very good overall condition, with slight signs of age.
