Ancient travel trunk

Large wooden flat travel trunk circa 1900. The corners are protected by zinc corners; a zinc plate on top mentions the name and address of the owner in the jura. The trunk is in its juice, painted in a brown hue and seems to be protected by a matte varnish. Scratches, scratches, impacts are present on the outside of the trunk; the interior is surprisingly clean and untouched. The fittings are oxidized. Ideal for making a bar; at the end of the sofa or to store linen, books... Has a lock, but no key. Beautiful decorative piece. Ref 635/20.
