Occasional table in rattan and pencil reed, Italian manufacture, approximately 1950s. Constructed with bundled rattan pole legs (four canes per leg) joined with traditional rattan wrapping at crosspieces and leg-to-top connections. Woven pencil reed top and lower shelf in radial pattern; original applied dye creates geometric cross motif through the weave. Both surfaces are cleanly executed and show consistent craftsmanship like Bonacina for example. No maker's mark present. Attribution to Italian rattan workshop based on construction method and scale—this is standard production language from northern Italian makers of the period. The bundled-leg approach and precision of the radial weave are reliable markers. No structural issues, no repairs. Surface shows appropriate patina and wear consistent with age and use; no damage to speak of. Joints are tight. All original. 41 × 41 cm (top surface)
