Float coffee table La Chance

Float is a sculptural table that plays with our senses and perception: the imposing metal cone appears to float above the polished mirror stainless steel base. The simple geometric shape of the table is enhanced by subtle details such as the fine sculpted lip around the edge of the top, which gives the whole piece its lightness. The Float coffee table is appreciated by many interior architects. It is part of various projects such as the lounges at Shanghai Airport and the Lyon Country House guesthouse. The table is one of the iconic pieces of the brand included in the public collections of the Mobilier national. THE DESIGNER Luca Nichetto was born in 1976 in Venice. He studied at the Istituto Statale d’Arte before pursuing a degree in industrial design at the Iuav Di Venezia university, from which he graduated in 1998. In 1999, Nichetto began his professional career at the glassmaker Salviati, based in Murano, and then became a product designer and consultant for the lighting company Foscarini. In 2006, he founded his eponymous studio in Venice. In 2011, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, to open a second studio and continues to live and work in that city. Throughout his career, Nichetto has been the artistic director for numerous international design brands and has developed an in-depth knowledge of the design industry. This model follows an ever-increasing number of collaboration requests from international companies. Since then, the Nichetto studio has expanded into areas such as interior decoration and architecture.
