Maison Lecan presents this solid teak coffee table from the 1950s, carved directly from a trunk slice. The top, with a thickness ranging from 8 to 12 cm, features irregular and organic contours that give the piece its uniqueness — no two are identical. Teak, a dense and oily wood known for its longevity, reveals a deep patina with mahogany and chocolate tones, acquired over the decades. The surface has received a varnish finish in the Maison Lecan workshops, which protects the wood while enhancing the richness of its reflections. The tripod base with slanted solid wood legs is simple and effective — it stabilises the whole and gives the table its characteristic low and grounded silhouette. With a diameter of 110 cm and a height of 51 cm, it serves well as both a central coffee table and a generous side table. A unique, sturdy piece with character — it naturally fits into a contemporary interior, a loft, or a home seeking authentic materials.
