1950s Carl Auböck attributed magazine holder from Denmark

A lovely magazine rack made of high quality rattan attributed to Carl Auböck, manufactured by Illums Bolighus in Denmark around 1950. This elegant piece is made of high quality rattan, nicely woven into shape. The bent design of the magazine holder contrasts nicely to the tubular black lacquered metal frame and combines into a very nice and luxurious style. A highly recognizable piece that will be a lovely addition to any decor. It remains in good, vintage condition with some repairs done to the wicker, preserving a beautiful patina.
