Round plate Badonviller model Jeanne

Here is an old dish from the Badonviller pottery, model "Jeanne", recognisable by its beautiful stencilled border: deep blue stylised flowers alternate with a frieze of foliage, highlighted by a discreet string of small dots. The whole stands out against a delicately crazed cream background, a sign of a well-lived life. On the reverse, the mark "Badonviller France" and the name of the model, "Jeanne". We love the simplicity of this vintage tableware, both understated and cheerful, which finds its place on a country table as well as on a wall or display. The crazing and the patina of time give it all its charm. An ideal piece for lovers of antique pottery and blue and white decor.
