Oval mirror in handcrafted wrought iron, mid-century brutalist vintage from the 50s-70s.

Beautiful oval wall mirror, wrought iron frame, handcrafted in France, in a mid-century brutalist style, vintage from the 1950s to 1970s. The patinated metal frame is topped with a wide suspension ring highlighted by a stylised motif reminiscent of a fleur-de-lis. The mirror, with felt on the back, is held by metal brackets on the reverse. Total height with the ring is 53cm, height of the mirror alone is approximately 37cm, maximum width is 28cm, depth is 4cm. Very good overall condition for its age, with small discreet chips in the glass at the two lower back attachments, as well as a few fine surface scratches on the top of the frame. Weighs approximately 4kg.
