This set of 9 delightful soup plates comes from the Badonviller Manufacture. It is the "Les Roses" model, dating from the 1940s. The plates are made of white glazed earthenware and are adorned in their centre with a stencilled design of stylised roses treated in delicate shades of blue and pink. The rim is highlighted by a peripheral line in a wine-red hue, which harmoniously structures and frames the floral decoration. The floral-patterned ceramics that once adorned grandparents' china cabinets are now enjoying a new life. They bring a charming touch to retro table decorations. Signed on the base, the plates are in exceptional condition for their age. They have evidently seen very little use. Height: 3 cm. Diameter: 22 cm. Weight: 2.9 kg.
