Pair of bronze andirons with black patina, 19th century, female caryatids

Pair of andirons. French work, 20th century. Heads of andirons with caryatid figures in bronze with black patina. Beaten wrought iron trestles. Good overall condition. The andirons have been cleaned but not stripped in order to preserve their remarkable patina. Note a slight original deformation at the end of one of the trestles, a deformation which does not affect the stability of the andiron (see photos and zoom). The total height of an andiron is 24 cm. The total depth of an andiron is 42 cm. The total width of an andiron is 14.5 cm. The price indicated is for the pair of andirons. The original nuts, which were missing, have been replaced (see photos and zoom).
