Beautiful and large natural abalone shell, Haliotis Midae grey, polished, vintage mid-20th century from the 60s-70s, featuring a lustrous exterior surface with shades of grey, beige, and pearlescent, and an iridescent abalone interior with changing reflections of green, purple, and rainbow. A decorative curiosity piece that can serve as a decorative object, catch-all, or collectible item. 16cm in length, 12cm in width, and 6.3cm in height. Very good overall condition, with two old holes on the edge that have been visibly filled with resin, discreet and without impact on the solidity or presentation. Weighs approximately 200g.
