Very pretty ceramic vase from the Studio Arta workshop, a renowned artisan ceramics studio located in Italy. The engraved or inscribed abbreviation PZ under the piece refers to the province of Potenza, located in the Basilicata region in southern Italy, and specifically corresponds to the municipality of Trecchina. Piece characteristics: Technique: This is an artisan ceramic made using the traditional majolica method. The clay is shaped on a wheel, undergoes a first firing at 1000 °C, then is glazed and meticulously hand-painted before a second firing. Design: The piece features a spherical bottle shape with a narrow neck, adorned with an abstract organic decoration with a watercolor effect in shades of blue, brown, and cream.
