Extendable Scandinavian teak dining table, circa 1960

A beautiful Scandinavian table from around 1960. Likely Danish, judging by the quality of its construction. This extendable model features one leaf stored under the tabletop (saving space) and is made entirely of teak and teak veneer. It boasts several unusual features, such as the central extension leaf being inserted through an opening in the tabletop (usually located at the ends of rectangular tabletops), the rounded edges that flow seamlessly from the tabletop, and the contrasting tones between the base and the tabletop. The table measures 169 cm wide, 219 cm with the extension leaf, 87 cm deep, and 76 cm high. In superb condition (no stains or scratches; there is just a small scuff on one corner of the tabletop and slight discoloration on one edge of the extension leaf, which has no aesthetic impact – see the last two photos), this table will be a striking addition to your dining area, perfectly in line with current decorating trends.
