This Art Deco sideboard in solid chestnut perfectly embodies the elegance of the 1930s and 40s, thanks to its clean lines, sculpted grooves, and warm appearance. Restored with respect for its authenticity, it combines aesthetics, character, and ample storage. An ideal piece of furniture to enhance a kitchen, dining room, or even an entryway. Materials: Solid chestnut. Features: This two-part sideboard from the 1930s-40s is typical of the Art Deco style with its sculpted grooves on the uprights and drawers. The upper section opens with two glass doors to reveal two shelves (the height of which is not adjustable). The lower section comprises two drawers and a cupboard with a shelf (also not adjustable) that closes behind two solid doors. The door locks are functional and come with keys. Restoration: The two-piece sideboard was completely sanded on the exterior, as well as the inside of the doors, to remove the apple green paint. It was then washed and left in its raw wood state for a natural finish. Dimensions of the lower section: W117 X D52 X H98.5 cm. Drawers: W42.5 X H8.5 cm. Cupboard: W108.5 X D41 X H72 cm. Spacing between shelves (top to bottom): 36-34.5 cm. Dimensions of the upper section: W122 X D40 X H96 cm. Interior: W108 X D31 X H93 cm. Spacing between shelves (top to bottom): 35.5-23.5-31 cm. Total height: 194.5 cm. Combining functionality, period charm, and the beauty of unfinished solid chestnut, this restored Art Deco sideboard is a unique piece that will bring character and a real presence to your interior. Its double-bodied design, glass-fronted cabinets, and ample storage make it both decorative and practical, ready to be brought back to life in your home.
