Finn Juhl Bwana armchair by France and Son Model 152

Finn Juhl was inspired by abstract sculpture and African art. The latter is also clearly reflected in this armchair called Bwana, also known as Model 152. This armchair is made of solid teak wood in which the cushions and armrests seem to hang. The green wool fabric is still quite original, but the foam has been replaced by us. Finn Juhl's concept for this chair: "to be worn and to take care" resulted in this very comfortable ergonomic design. The sculptural approach has made this chair a functional art and a throne function for the human body. The armchair is 91 cm high, 88 cm deep and 88 cm wide. Condition: The chair has new foam and the fabric has been cleaned. The chair is in good condition.
