Antique slip amphora vase – earthenware with ancient Greek decor – signed 0e V – 35 cm. Sublime slip amphora vase, in glazed earthenware, decorated in a style inspired by ancient Greece. This two-handled vase is adorned with superb Greek friezes and acanthus leaves in relief, in a rich palette of greens, browns and ochres. Its elegant design and rustic charm make it an ideal piece to decorate a chic country-style interior, family home or solid wood furniture. Marked on the bottom: “0e v” in hollow (see photo), which indicates a production probably artisanal or from an old earthenware factory. Condition: good general condition with traces of wear over time which give it character. Note: a small, barely visible chip on the neck (see Photo), without affecting the aesthetics or solidity.
